I took up painting in 2002 under the tutorship of local artist the late Brian Allison.Since then I have developed a passion for water-colour and strive to become excellent in that medium, rather than just being good in many mediums.
I am essentially a traditionalist, creating realistic paintings which are often influenced by my history in architectural draughting and my extensive overseas and Australian travel. I concentrate primarily on popular Australian and New Zealand subjects and have held several solo and joint exhibitions.
