My aim is to create artworks that will inspire or bring joy to others and to encourage everyone to own at least one piece of quality original art that they love. I grew up in Sydney and lived in Canberra for many years before moving to the Sunshine Coast. I have attended many art workshops and tutorials and won numerous art awards beginning with my first first prize at age 12. My current loves are painting abstracts, landscapes referencing the aerial viewpoint, and quirky figures, mainly working with acrylic paint, water colour and mixed media. I have qualifications in architecture and librarianship and have part completed a visual art degree. I am a former President and Vice President of the Artists Society of Canberra (ASOC) and formerly a member of the ASOC Contemporary painting group and the Tin Shed Art Group. I am currently a member of CACA (Caloundra Arts Centre Association Inc.), the CACA Creatives Art Group, the CACA Pumicestone Painters, Painters on the Passage (POP), Arts Connect, Inc (ACI) and Artists Alliance Australia (AAA). Many of my smaller art works can be found at the Talented Friends Gallery, Caloundra.
